Well, I have decided to make the plunge over to Wordpress.com
So, I am packing my bags up here at Blogger and sauntering my way over.

I have already created my account and am playing with the formatting now, tring to learn my way around their services and management pages.

So our temporary receptionsist of 6 plus months walked out the other day with no notice. The pevious 'Disturbing Encounter' post had to be broken up into two posts, because everytime I tried to publish it would hang.  It's defiently a size issue of my posts, but since this has no pictures and/or sound, I can't figure out why it hangs.

So, I have been on sorta a self-imposed sabbatical the last week.  My Uncle's death was tough on me, but I am in acceptance now and feel much better that the pain has stopped for him despite my own selfish designs.

For that reason, at least mostly, it has been hard for me to sit down here and put some thoughts down, let alone feel any sort of somewhat naughty thoughts. I received some very devestating news yesterday morning....I knew it was inevitable, but for selfish reasons I wanted it him to hang in there a little longer, just so I could see him one last time.

Another year, another turkey, another episode of 'How the Family Turns.'

Oh how I look so forward to this day with mixed emotions.  I'll probably leave work early today to get a head start on relaxation.
